This and That

Alright.. so that was an engagement photo-post blast.  I’ll try to prepare some wedding posts from last years weddings and maybe a few from this year as well.  Hopefully in the next week or so.   Maybe some editorial work too… It’s the busy season.  What can I say.  Time is a luxury.

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer.  2011 is fully booked.  Accepting inquires for 2012.  If you’re getting married, don’t wait to the last minute to book your photographer, or you’ll be disappointed when you hear..’sorry we’re already booked on your day’

Do your research, find someone who fits your style and whose photos you love.

Then meet up for a coffee/drink, to view their portfolio and get to know each other.  Don’t be afraid to ask questions – even the trivial ones.  The more you learn from one another about each other, the more you’ll know if it’s meant to be.  Just like in real life.

Be safe and wear sunscreen.

Posse out.

Melanie + Paul // Engagement // Toronto

So we shot for about 45 min in +40C weather.  It was hot and in natural Toronto fashion, 100% humidity.  Then the wind came.  Followed by a torrential downpour.   So this is part one of their engagement shot.  Part deux to come.

Jenna + Ota // Engagement // Toronto

I’m so blessed to have cool/fun/easy going couples to work with.  Jenna + Ota were just that.  Their wedding is going to be great.

What can I say, these two were just awesome to work with.  We shot in the city.  I apologize for the discarded syringes, prophylactics, and broken bottles in the alleyways – but the photos were worth it.  Their wedding is next weekend.  Can’t wait!
